Rachel explained that overpopulation leads to stray and sick animals throughout the community. Helping to keep the number of cats, dogs, and other creatures in check is a vital activity. Rachel indicated that she adopted her dog from a shelter and has a strong connection to the plight of stray and neglected animals. Art for Animals was one of her favorite causes because of its focus on awareness.
