With InselAir Golf Bags Fly Free

Starting December 15th, 2011 InselAir will transport golf bags for free as an extra service to its passengers.

On top of regular baggage InselAir has announced it will allow one (1) golf bag per person free of charge on all its MD-80 and Fokker 50 flights.

The airline which is known for its customer-oriented services such as free food and beverages, free newspapers, 2nd checked bag for free, free carry-on, free extra 10 kl (22lbs) for dive equipment and a friendly multilingual crew has now added free transportation of one golf bag per person to these services.

"We realized many golfers enjoy flying with InselAir. With our 16 international destinations we connect them to several golf-locations throughout the Pan-American region." Jurgen Lippinkhof, Chief Commercial Officer continues; "Therefore we felt we could accommodate golfers by offering to transport one golf bag per person for free."

This specialized baggage offer that caters to a specific group of travelers is not all that new to InselAir. Lippinkhof explains; "Since our start-up we have been offering an extra 10 kl (22lbs) of dive equipment for free to our passengers. We connect to many beautiful dive-locations and we wanted to present our passengers with the possibility of bringing their own equipment free of charge.

The free golf bag offer is valid on all routes except in- and outbound destination Miami. The airline is known for its liberal baggage allowance, which goes up to 60 kilos (102lbs) for free, depending on route, aircraft and travel class.

InselAir is an IOSA certified airline, operating 16 international destinations in 11 countries within the Pan-American region. In South America InselAir operates on destinations Caracas, Valencia, Barquisimeto and Las Piedras in Venezuela, Medellin in Colombia and Suriname.
