A mother of two and part of a military family that has traveled the world over Amanda became inspired by vinyl wall decals as a way to transform plain boring white walls into a home for her family. She searched for inventive ways to decorate her home that were easy as she was a busy mother and also not permanent as every three to four years she has to change home. This inspiration for a home that was lovely and reflected her style and tastes became the inspiration to share this cozy feeling with everyone with The Everyday Collection.
The Everyday Collection is a timeless offering of inspirational bible quotes, humorous sayings, and decorative designs to adorn your walls and appliances. Amanda wanted to take those items that are used in day to day life like the washer and dryer or the refrigerator and add some pizzaz to them with colorful triangles, fun polk-a-dots, and other decorative patterns. About Amanda’s Designer Decals
Amanda’s Designers Decals began life as Four Peas in a Pod Vinyl Boutique by Amanda Maltz while she was stationed overseas in Okinawa with her husband. As a military wife she faced the dilemma of being in a new country without access to the familiar comforts of home.
She had always had an interest in home décor and designing. With her budding family living in a home with stark white walls and plenty of rules on what you can and cannot do she had to figure out how to transform cold stark white walls into a home that was warm and inviting.
Then in 2012 she came up with the idea of using vinyl wall decals. Unsatisfied with the shoddy quality and designs that were out there she began to create her own designs from scratch. Many of the other women on the base caught wind of what Amanda was doing and she began to get orders from the other ladies on the base. In August of 2012 Four Peas in a Pod Vinyl Boutique was born.
In 2013 Amanda and her family returned to the states kept her business growing larger and larger. Then 2015 hit and she had grown so big that it was time for a change. She completely rebranded her business, overhauled her image, and brought on staff to help becoming Amanda’s Designer Decals with a brand new high end look offering quality designer vinyl wall decals to help families transform their homes every day.
Now Amanda is ready to launch her brand new spring designs with The Everyday Collection. Made with love from Amanda’s heart to your home to inspire you to make memories with your loved ones everyday.
