Vijayawada Today Headlines : Vijayawada MP Lagadapati always stands special in action completely away from all. Presently at a stage, when all are forgetting about Telangana issue, He provoking the Telangana leaders again is being objected and questioned by majority of the leaders. He for the latest has thrown yet another challenge to the Telangana leaders.

Lagadapati said if at all Telangana state had any existence before in the history, he would salute on the separatists feet and would never ever speak about the topic of Telangana. He is also saying that parties which go into 2014 elections with the policy of United Andhra would win a minimum of 270 seats. As per him parties going with separate Telangana would not win even 20 seats all together.

There would be counter attacks now from the Telangana supporters for sure. A doubt is arising at this junction.. Is Lagadapati supporting Telangana or Opposing? With his sharp words and acute accusations, Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal quite times pushed his own Congress party into tight spot. This happened again today with Lagadapati making some sensational comments on T-issue.

As more and more extremists are busy demanding a separate state, Lagadapati stated there is no genuinty in their demand. 'Here goes my challenge for them. If there is a Telangana state in the history at any time, then I will bow to extremists and agree for separation', stressed Lagadapati. He warned that extremists should not be entertained and appealed to people at Srikakulam to vote for Congress and rush extremists out of state.'

All Telugus should stay united and fight, but should not do like these extremists', concludes Lagadapati. However Lagadapati's comments are pushing Congress into further trouble as they are the party who ignited clashes in AP by announcing at first that Telangana formation is initiated, and later calling it off. YSR Congress leader Gone Prakash Rao on Sunday accused Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal of making provocative statements against the demand for separate Telangana.

Talking to reporters here, Prakash Rao said that the Congress MP has been repeatedly trying to provoke the Telangana sentiments. He said Ladapati's statements might create problems for the people of Seemandhra region living in Hyderabad. Ridiculing his contention that there should be consensus on Telangana, he said so far no State was created through consensus.

As the time, set by the Centre to announce a solution for the vexed separate Telangana state is approaching, politicians from both the Telangana and Andhra regions are engaged in war of words and challenges and counter challenges, as MP Lagadapati Rajgopal challenged Telangana Rashtra Samithi President K Chandra Sekhar Rao to contest from Hyderabad, as it would be a referendum.

Addressing a press conferencw, the Congress MP, an ardent protagonist of united Andhra Pradesh, dared Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao to contest in the next elections from either Hyderabad or Secunderbad as that would be referendum on separate T-state. If K Chandrasekhar Rao wins from Hyderabad or Secunderabad, I will not speak of separate Telangana state' the MP challenged and added that majority of people in all the three regions are in favour of united Andhra, but their voice is being muzzled.

Criticising the Telugu Desam Party for its pro-Telangana stand, he ridiculed that Mr Chandrababu Naidu might have been scared of separatist forces when he was in Warangal. Congress MP from Vijayawada constituency has challenged K Chandrasekhar Rao, Telangana Rashtra Samithi Chief, to show his strength by contesting for the Lok Sabha from Hyderabad. He said that the TRS leader met Sonia Gandhi at New Delhi and begged to merge the TRS with the Congress.

"Let KCR contest from Hyderabad and win, I will get ready to quit from politics and I would not talk about the united Andhra movement further," he said. "I am confident that 270 of 284 MLAs would support and vote for united Andhra," he added. He also criticized that the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu gave the letter in support of separate Telangana which made the high command to misread that a majority of Andhra Pradesh people are supporting state bifurcation.
