Third-Party Candidate Art Drew Looking to Make an Impact on Presidential Election
Fredonia, PA, October 20, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Third-party candidates in this year’s upcoming presidential election are trying to make an impact as polling shows that more than half of voters hold unfavorable views of the two leading nominees - Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump. Voters have expressed time and again that they aren’t so much in favor of one candidate but instead are planning to vote in opposition of the other. This has opened the door for third-party candidates to attract the attention of voters who are looking for more positive options.
Like other third-party candidates Dr. Jill Stein of the Green Party and Libertarian Gary Johnson, Art Drew, an Air Force Veteran and entrepreneur, announced his independent bid for the 2016 presidential race earlier in the year. However, Drew has something no other candidate has – a strong military background. He is hoping to leverage his hand-on experience with the military coupled with his years as an entrepreneur and innovative thinking to bring an honest change to Washington.
"I'm stepping forward as an American patriot that is free of baggage and encumbrances like charges of criminal conduct, greed and ill will to anyone."
Art Drew, Third-party Candidate
Drew was born in a rural farming and industrial community in Pennsylvania and has been working hard his entire life. Drew attended college while serving with the Air Force in Washington State before being deployed to Vietnam from 1965 to 1966. He later became a successful entrepreneur and it now hoping to bring his experience to the oval office.
By building off his military and business experience, Drew is hoping to garner the support of other veterans and Americans who to share in his vision of a better, stronger country. According to Drew, he believes much needs to change in Washington especially related to the U.S military position and how veterans are treated, especially the ongoing issue with PTSD and veteran suicide.
“In order to run an effective military, one must have had military training and have served and worked their way through the ranks,” says Drew. “I’m stepping forward as an American patriot that is free of baggage and encumbrances like charges of criminal conduct, greed and ill will to anyone. I have the knowledge and the experience that the other candidates do not possess to be Commander-in-Chief.”
Drew is ready to continue his long history of serving his country by raising the quality of life for all Americans as the President of the United States. His website details more of Drew’s background and his positions on relevant issues. To learn more, visit ArtDrewforPresident.com.
