The SONO, HD Tooth Camera That Scan for Your Cavities

ProDENT SONO

Venoka, a Florida based company that focuses on providing professional Intraoral technology equipment to a network of over 10,000 dentists worldwide, today announced the coming launch of a new addition to their ProDENT family of dental equipment, the SONO. The ProDENT SONO represents a step forward in dental technology, as their first Intraoral HD Camera directed at the home consumer, designed to improve dental care for all the family.

"We have provided professional level dental products for years, and saw the need for this level of care in the home," stated Allen Zhang, CEO and founder of Venoka and ProDENT, "...and we wanted to create a product that would not only improve dental care, but work to educate the consumer on better methods of dental hygiene, using SONO to identify the results directly."

SONO will not only help you find any issues such as possible cavities and plaque build-up, but will highlight where you need to pay more attention to when brushing and flossing

The ProDENT SONO offers a number of features, such as WiFi, HD cam, recording of images and video, and BlueLight Scanning technology, which highlights any issues discovered on or around your teeth, allowing you the record and share with dentists to examine at a later date.

The SONO itself is shaped much like your average electric toothbrush, and comes with multi-light and recording ability utilizing the HD camera on the end of the device. This means that you can see the positive results of pro-active dental care in a very real way, as any problem areas will be highlighted for further attention on your computer or smart device. This means that the consumer is able to perform dental check-ups in the home, saving both time and money, as visits to the dentist can be narrowed down, such as when issues are found beforehand.

"SONO will not only help you find any issues such as possible cavities and plaque build-up, but will highlight where you need to pay more attention to when brushing and flossing," quoted Allen, "and we hope that this will work to lower health costs for the consumer over time, and allow dentists to focus on the real issues directly is and when they are discovered."

With health insurance on the rise, it is a comfort to know that products like this will help lower the cost of what could otherwise be expensive and often unneeded check-up's.

The ProDENT SONO is due for release on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter in late December, but are offering a hugely generous 20% discount off of the suggested retail price to early subscribers. To take advantage of this, you can access their sign-up pages on www.prodent-sono.com
