Online, February 3, 2010 (Newswire.com) - (Norwood MA) Toyota Motor Corp. is shipping a fix to auto dealers for the sticking gas pedals in selected vehicles. Toyota designed a steel reinforcement bar retrofit (shim)for the pedals to keep them from sticking; the repair average repair time is 30 minutes per vehicle.
The size of this recall is unprecedented; therefore our response at Boch needs to be unprecedented. Both Boch Toyota's and Boch Toyota South's service departments will remain open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to handle the recall during this period of high demand.
