The “Finance Monthly M&A Awards” is a prestigious international industry recognition that evaluates talent, expertise, creativity, innovation and deliverables for advisory and legal consultants across Europe, Asia and the USA.
In the public relations category, a team of researchers from Finance Monthly evaluated key categories to identify and select the top PR firms from around the world.
The identification and selection process involved a 10-point criterion that included a quantitative and qualitative assessment of the firm’s expertise and deliverables within the financial media. Their researchers also interviewed both clients and journalists in assessing the PR firm’s media strategy, media expertise, strategic thinking and industry expertise.
The specific 10-point criterion evaluated includes:

Macias PR was founded in 2009 by Mark Macias – a former Executive Producer with NBC and Senior Producer with CBS in New York. He was also a journalist for the British men’s magazine, Avantoure and the Arizona Republic.
During his time with NBC and CBS, Macias was nominated for five Emmys in the categories: News & Public Affairs; Business & Consumer; Features; Religious Programming; and Documentary Programming. He won an Emmy in the News & Public Affairs category.
Macias was also Executive Producer of a nationally syndicated NBC business show, Hispanics Today. As Executive Producer, he led the editorial direction for the weekly TV program, identifying interesting enterprise business ideas and financial news topics that would keep entrepreneurs on top of the latest business trends.
