SALT LAKE CITY, January 10, 2019 (Newswire.com) -  Visitors to Salt Lake City International Airport can now take advantage of an affordable, well-located parking option and The Parking Spot’s acclaimed customer service. As the nation's largest owner and operator of near-airport parking facilities, The Parking Spot is proud to celebrate today the grand opening of its brand-new, energy-efficient facility located directly adjacent to the airport.

In addition to offering almost 2,000 covered and uncovered parking spaces, The Parking Spot provides convenient shuttle services that make getting in and out of the airport fast and easy. Shuttle drivers pick up guests at their vehicles, assist them with their luggage and drop them off at the terminal doors. Guests leaving the airport can expect a quick pickup from their terminals and chilled water upon exiting the parking lot. Guests can use The Parking Spot's free mobile app to enter and exit the facility, make reservations, track their shuttles and sign up for the Spot Club loyalty program to earn generous travel perks and rewards.

In keeping with the company's sustainability initiative, which includes a significant investment in LED lighting, the new facility offers electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and is equipped to accommodate hybrid vehicles. In addition, a high solar reflectance index (SRI) coating was used over the covered parking section to reflect the sun's radiation and keep cars cooler.
