UIDesign Group hosted the 4th online conference UX Marathon on October 24 - 28. 11 webinars conducted by leading professionals from US, Denmark, Canada and Australia brought together 160+ attendees from different corners of the world.

11 webinars conducted by leading professionals from US, Denmark, Canada and Australia brought together 160+ attendees from different corners of the world: US, Canada, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine, Spain, Jordan, Turkey, Finland, Panama, and Germany .
Annually UX Marathon organizers invite popular conference speakers, authors of books, contributors to different magazines and bloggers. This year attendees could listen to Indi Young, author of Mental Models, and Whitney Quesenbery, co-author of Storytelling for User Experience, as well as to practitioners from leading UX companies - Chris Risdon from Adaptive Path (USA), Ilana Kaplan from Optimal Experience (Australia), and Aga Bojko from User Centric (USA).
The theme of UX Marathon 2011 was "UX Toolkit". All webinars were divided into 3 tracks: Design & Prototyping, User Research, and Evaluating Ideas. Just over one week the attendees learned about different tools and methods for prototyping and conducting user research.
This year UX Marathon was preceded by web scavenger hunt and webinar raffle. Three lucky winners of the Raffle organized together with our sponsor Axure received free admissions to the webinar of their choice. Five people scooped up Rosenfeld media books and three people won Axure RP licenses. Also every 20th participants received books provided by our sponsors User Centric, Inc. and UserZoom.
