Teresa Meyerhoeffer Christensen's New Book, "Angels Unshelved" is a Spellbinding Tale About Emma Lanrete Who Sees for Herself if Life is Worth Living.

Recent release "Angels Unshelved" from Covenant Books author Teresa Meyerhoeffer Christensen is a heartwarming and touching story about a lonely young woman named Emma who feels like she is not enough and wonders if her absence makes any difference in life.

Teresa Meyerhoeffer Christensen, a cancer survivor who has raised six unique children, taught institute and seminary religion classes for years, and served on various school boards in many volunteer positions while writing in various capacities, has completed her new book, “Angels Unshelved”:  a moving story on a young woman’s journey in finding out her self-worth and the five ancestors who are assigned to help her change her mind. Teresa will be donating all proceeds from her book to different worthwhile charities each year.

Teresa shares, “Emma was still sitting in the fabric floral chair at her mother’s bedside. Desperation hung thickly in the room. Without really thinking, Emma bowed her head and offered a simple prayer to somewhere. She did not know really what she believed, but she hoped there was an Enlightened Essence of some kind who listened and helped when or how they were able. She wasn’t even sure where to begin, but at this point, she doubted sending words into the vast void could do more damage.

‘God, if there is a God and if you can hear me. This is Emma Lanrete. I know we are not close, but since you are able to understand everything and all, I was hoping you are a supporting sort of presence that shows some compassion to even semibelievers. I am not asking for a sign or miracle or anything major, I will let you save those for your more faithful followers. I just need to not feel so alone and to know if it matters I am here. This house has been going through a pretty rough patch as you might already know. I feel like I can barely breathe at times.

Help me if you can. That’s it. Thanks. Emma.’”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Teresa Meyerhoeffer Christensen’s new book is a gripping story that takes readers back and forth between heaven and earth as well as the perspective of Emma who wonders about the worth of her life and those from the “above team” who are tasked to help her realize it.

Her work presents teenhood as a fragile time; it also contains parts of Christensen’s life, only fictionalized. She also has included several song, book, and movie references that have inspired her in life.

Readers can purchase “Angels Unshelved” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble.
