SIMCO Introduces New Screw-Free Plastic Enclosure
Avon Park, FL, February 6, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Just in time for the New Year, SIMCO introduces a screw-free plastic electronic enclosure. Designed to offer its customers even more options that meet their diverse needs, SIMCO is excited to add this plastic case to their lineup of available products. Made of ABS plastic and measuring 1.150 inches by 1.810 inches by 4.250 inches, the 111X14 plastic enclosure is an ideal solution for housing the power supply in a small device like a laptop.
Screw-Free Enclosure Basics
A two-piece box, the 111X14 plastic enclosure snaps together for ease of use and quick access. Because each half of the plastic case includes mounting bosses that are molded into the PC boards, no screws are required. The potential for scratching is reduced by the lightly textured surfaces of this plastic electronic enclosure.
Custom Options Available
In addition to offering 9.9 cubic inches of space, the design of this plastic case enables customers to customize them. Choose from one of three colors: ivory, black or dark grey. Customers can also choose from two different materials: 94VO or 94HB.
If the customer chooses to do so, the plastic enclosure can be either ultrasonically welded or glued. Doing so will give this plastic electronic enclosure an IP rating of 68. Other custom options available include the printing of a company's logos and switches, EMI/RFI shielding and custom machining to meet specific parameters for connectors or switches.
