Instead, ShaSa Resorts has announced it is turning to the one and only Sakul Intrakul, the spiritual floral artist who is recognized as a leader in the field of floral art decorations in Thailand.
As Christmas approaches, ShaSa Resorts and Residences decided that now was as good a time as any in which to spruce up the resort, and what better way to do so than with an attractive floral art presentation created by one of Thailand's undisputed masters?
Sakul Intrakul, who has previously worked on the flower arrangements at the wedding of Asian movie star Tony Leung, amongst other illustrious clientele, has spent the last month working hard to create a dramatic new floral display at ShaSa Resorts and Residences. The result has been simply outstanding, adding a grace and style to a resort which has already won awards for its outstanding beauty.
ShaSa Resorts manager Mr. Chawalit said that he had selected Sakul Intrakul to design their floral decorations because flowers are and always have been an integral part of Thailand's cultural fabric, reminding people of the nation's Buddhist identity, before adding that: "It was only fitting that ShaSa gave the same level of importance to its own floral decorations, owing to its status as the quintessential "Thai" resort on Koh Samui."

Sakul Intrakul is a renowned expert on Thai flower arrangement and the co-author of two bestselling English language books about floral art; "Modern Asian Living", which he co-authored with Masano Kawana and Wongvipa Devahastin Na Ayudhya, and "Tropical Colors: The Art Of Living With Tropical Flowers", which he wrote alongside Peta Bassett and Wongvipa Devahastin Na Ayudhya.
