RV AWNING BUSINESS CELEBRATES 10th YEAR IN BUSINESS
Tough Top Awnings is 10 years old!
"We have always strived to offer an excellent customer experience, and our faculty along with our new online store helped further achieve that"
Tyler Hammack, Operations Manager
Vancouver, WA (March 15th, 2016) In 2006 Ray and Sandy Oberreuter saw the need to make a top quality RV awning product that is affordable and durable. The business started as they traveled the country, manufacturing awnings in their garage.
The product was perfected over the years, website developed with instructional videos and online store. Tough Tops sells their custom awnings online in the United States and Canada and locally in Vancouver, WA.
“The idea was to make a superior product, then offer the best customer service we could…from there our wonderful customers helped spread the word” says Tough Top Owner Ray Oberreuter
Now with the help of their son Rick Oberreuter, a graphic designer and website developer; daughter Christine and her husband Tyler, Tough Top Awnings has grown to be one of the largest premier RV Awning Replacement fabric companies in the world.
With growth came expansion, growing our production facility to over 2400 square feet of manufacturing space and adding jobs to the local Vancouver economy. The addition of the on-line store, starting in October 2014, has dramatically increased sales and made the buying process easy for customers. Tough Tops is now committing more focus on marketing and social media to further increase awareness of their products.
“We have always strived to offer an excellent customer experience, and our faculty along with our new online store helped further achieve that” says Operations Manager Tyler Hammack
Tough Tops has minimal impact on the environment. With the manufacturing of RV awnings, they accumulate scrap material that has been kept out of landfills by donating the material to the Pacific Crest Trail Association and Habitat for Humanity. These groups use the materials to provide protection from the elements and aid in the maintenance and development of trails in the Pacific Northwest.
Tough Tops is proud to be a growing online business in the RVing community.
