Rug & Home Scholars Program Offers Annual Interior Design and Humanitarian Scholarships
North Carolina , April 11, 2016 (Newswire.com) - North Carolina based rug and furniture store Rug & Home has just announced its Scholars Program, which will offer two scholarships annually to freshmen, sophomores and juniors currently enrolled at an accredited university. Rug & Home’s Interior Design Scholarship is available to students pursuing a major focused on interior design. The Humanitarian Scholarship is designed for students who give back to their communities, and have demonstrated exceptional character; qualities the Rug & Home team strives to practice regularly.

Additional eligibility requirements for both scholarships include being a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident, anticipating completion of college degree and obtaining a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA. For the interior design scholarship, applicants must be majoring in interior design at a university accredited by the Council for Interior Design. Applicants cannot be children or grandchildren of Rug & Home employees.
Both scholarships are designed to fit Rug & Home’s values as a company and support students who share the same passion for home design and helping others.
