Resolution Contributes to Bedford Robotics Team
WOBURN, Mass., November 30, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Resolution Development Services Inc., a leading provider of product development services to the medical, life science and consumer markets, today announced a monetary contribution to the Bedford School District. The contribution is in support of the Bedford High School robotics team, Bucs Robotics and their efforts in the Vex Robotics League.
Resolution’s contribution to the program will be used for the construction of a robot practice field as well as the materials to construct an additional robot for the team. This gives the group an opportunity to build expertise while constructing complex robots from scratch.
“We are proud to support Bedford’s robotics program,” said Leo Carayannopoulos, CEO of Resolution Development Services. “It is critical for companies to become active participants and invest in the next generation to ensure that our kids can compete in the ever-growing global economy. With the addition of Bedford, Resolution is proud to actively support three robotics programs at the high school level.”
“Our robotics team offers young men and women the opportunity to build complex devices from the ground up, helping them gain real-life experiences common with software and hardware engineering.” Said Sarah Leshay, one of the coaches of the Bucs. “Tackling engineering problems from start to finish, including wiring, coding, and problem-solving will help them learn how to deal with the unexpected and find creative solutions.”
