Remanufacturing Industries Council Announces Call for Nominations for the Prestigious Remanufacturing ACE Awards
International Recognition and a $1,000 Scholarship Awarded to Industry Award Winners in Three Award Categories
WEST HENRIETTA, N.Y., August 15, 2019 (Newswire.com) - The Remanufacturing Industries Council (RIC) today announced nominations are open for the RIC Remanufacturing ACE Awards. The RIC Remanufacturing ACE Awards are based on RIC’s mission to ADVOCATE, COLLABORATE, and EDUCATE on behalf of the entire remanufacturing industry.
Now in its third year, the annual ACE Awards is the industry’s most distinguished accolade offering three award categories. The Advocate Award recognizes industry leaders who have shown dedication to promoting remanufacturing or sustainability in business, government, education or other fields. The Collaborate Award recognizes leaders that have worked with other companies, regulatory bodies and lawmakers in an exceptional way to build unity and collaboration in order to increase the adoption of remanufacturing and other sustainable practices. The Educate Award recognizes leaders who have demonstrated a passion for educating others on the benefits of remanufacturing and sustainability.
Winners will be announced at the ACE Awards Networking Reception & Dinner during the RIC-RIT World Remanufacturing Conference on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019, in Rochester, New York (worldremanconference.com). Winners will be chosen by a panel of experts who currently work with and excel in the remanufacturing industry.
In addition to an award plaque, winners receive a $1,000 scholarship to be granted in their name to an individual or educational institution of their choosing.
“The Remanufacturing ACE Awards provide an outstanding opportunity to celebrate those individuals who are making vital contributions to the industry. The scholarships awarded help inspire and shape the next generation of remanufacturers,” said RIC Vice Chair, Vaughn Henson, Director of Business Development, SRC Holdings Corp. Mr. Henson is the Master of Ceremonies at the Awards Dinner for the third consecutive year.
Nominations can be made for either an individual or a company or organization associated with the remanufacturing industry. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2019. Nominations are accepted online at RemanACEAwards.org.
