Relationships of the Tabernacle Gates to the New Testament Church

Online, October 27, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Huntsville, Alabama -- The ten different gates mentioned in the book of Nehemiah(Chapter 3): Valley, Fountain, Sheep, Fish, Old, Dung, Water, Horse, East, and Miphkad Gates all have important biblical relations to both the Christian Church and modern day Israel. It is important for every believer rooted in the Christian faith to recognize the basic principles and references presented in this chapter of the Bible.
As a part of our Judeo-Christian Congregation, Covenant of Peace Church will host this Tabernacle Gate Presentation at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning of October 30, 2011. Everyone who is interested in learning more about the message of restoration of our Judaic roots to the New Testament Church is welcome to come and also anyone desiring a warm family friendly Church home.

A key focus of our church is a return to the Christ centered celebration of Biblical feast days defined in Leviticus 23. COP works in cooperation with Awareness Ministry to promote the "Christ our Passover Celebration," one of the largest unity celebrations in the country. We promote the Menorah, the seven branch candlestick, the symbol of the church. It represents the seven spirits of God spoken of in Revelation 5:6 and the seven anointings referred to in Isaiah 11:2. As Jesus said in Matthew 5:14-15 the church is to be the light of the world.

It is the mission of Covenant of Peace Church to be messengers of peace to the community, promoting unity among the diverse streams of Christianity.
