Preacher Celebrates 20 Years

Jemal Dexter Trammell, Founding Apostle of Open Heaven Outreach International celebrates a major milestone event on May 19th, 2012 at Open Heaven's location in Valley, AL

Trammell, 41, also fondly called by his close ties as "Apostle T", answered the call to lead a ministerial life under the guidance of his father, Apostle Louis Trammell on May 3, 1992. At Williams Grove Church of Deliverance, he served as a minister until 1999 before taking the helm of responsibility of founding a ministry in Lanett, Alabama.

Formerly known as Higher Ground Ministries international, Trammell established his church with 14 dedicated members. Today, over 200 faithful congregate to which was once a small parcel of property is now a prominent expanding four acre landmark in the area every Sunday.

The celebration, themed: "Impacting Nations and Changing Lives" will vividly recall Trammell's spiritual accomplishments and Gospel crusades locally and abroad. The gala will also feature Pilgrim Baptist Church's charismatic leader Dr. Frank Kennedy as Guest Speaker. The event's entertainment highlights live chorale praise singing will be performed by The Chosen Disciples and emceed by April Ross.

"I long to experience in this lifetime, to witness a million souls a day, renewed in the name of my King and Saviour, Jesus Christ.", mentions Trammell as part of his daily guidance for the last two decades. When not preaching or taking his dream into action, the former chef of 8 years loves cooking, he is an avid reader and a fishing enthusiast.

In fellowship with the honorable Chief Apostle Lloyd Benson, Sr.'s World Link of Churches International since 2006, Trammell and Open Heaven Outreach International now serve globally as an overseer of ministries in Nigeria. In 2011, Trammell founded a starter church for Open Heaven Outreach International in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
