New Virtual Assistance Company Finds Client a Job for $20

People are getting creative by utilizing Virtual Assistants to do more than data entry.

After learning about a new virtual services company, Justine Donahue of Camden, NY contacted HMDI to find out if they were hiring. Unfortunately, the company was only looking for certain types of Virtual Assistants at the time and since she didn't have the right skills or experience in other fields besides IT, she wouldn't be able to be considered for any of the current openings.

Feeling unfortunate and bearing very little hope, Donahue asked if Patrice Brown, the owner of the company could distribute her resume to other companies on her behalf since she possessed several in-demand IT skills but lacked networking skills as well as the ability to put together a resume that hiring managers wouldn't toss out.

Donahue explained that should would love to use HMDI's services but couldn't afford much, and in turn Brown agreed to assist her in finding a new position for just $20. Brown stated, "I'm human. I couldn't just sit there and tell her that there was nothing I could do. I started HMDI to help people, and that's what I will do." Anxious yet worried that her luck would fail her yet again, Donahue waited patiently as Brown kept her updated with her findings on a daily basis.

Brown also gave Donahue a host of free online sources that would help her find her own job in the future as well as helped her create a powerful resume.

On day 4 of HMDI searching for Justine Donahue a job, one was found! She now works for a major web company providing IT services on a contract basis. When most people think of virtual assistant companies, you think of the regular data entry, answering phone calls, and transcription services. You probably don't think much about all the other great things that a Virtual Assistant can assist people with---in this case finding a job.
