Microsoft Boot Camp at MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore
Online, March 10, 2014 (Newswire.com) - MVJ college of Engineering is always pleasured to satisfy the learning desireness of students as well as faculties. Considering all these factors, Microsoft Windows 8 Boot Camp was conducted on 21st Feb 2014 in MVJCE campus. MVJCE is a Microsoft Platinum advantage partner and the collobaration between Microsoft and MVJCE has created immense opportunities for students to train on the latest technologies and drive innovation. Microsoft Windows 8 Boot Camp witnessed participation from around 200 students from ISE/CSE/MCA.
Ms. Sukriti Sharma and Mr. Rakki Muthukumar from Microsoft inaugurated the event and conducted a day long workshop,teaching the students how to develop Windows 8 Apps.
Microsoft Boot camp is the starting event for the Appathon Fest. Appathon Fest is a 6 weeks program during which the professionals from Microsoft will interact with students from MVJCE and guide them to design and implement Windows 8 Apps.Some of the Apps developed by MVJCE students would be uploaded in the Windows App Store. On the very first day as manay as 82 App Idea forms were submitted by MVJCE students to Microsoft. Faculties from ISE/CSE/MCA departments contributed in conducting the Boot Camp and making it a successful event.
Students as well as the faculties of MVJCE are excited about the opportunities made available at MVJCE.
