Mariner and CCI Systems Speak on Customer Service-driven OPEX Reduction at IP Possibilities

Breakfast Session entitled "Minimizing OPEX through Cost Effective Customer Service" takes place on April 15th at NCTA IP Possibilities 2010

Iron Mountain, Mich and Saint John, CNB-April 6, 2010-Mariner and CCI Systems will speak on "Minimizing OPEX through Cost Effective Customer Service," at a breakfast presentation Thursday, April 15, 2010, at NCTA IP Possibilities 2010 in St. Louis, MO.

As IPTV deployments mature, the reality of Opex is setting in. Operators are experiencing the following: Set top box swap outs, repeat Help Desk calls, customer frustration with service quality, increased customer churn and time to profitability slipping. Find out how to get it right the first time.

Mariner's VP of Product Management, Marc Savoie, will talk about Mariner's xVu suite which enables service providers to maintain complete visibility of customers' in-home IPTV Quality of Experience (QoE), including visibility throughout the contentious "last mile." By providing non-intrusive service monitoring, a series of task-purposed user interfaces, market analytics and a range of viewing statistics, xVu helps service providers to address service issues in a proactive customer-centric way, dramatically reducing service-driven churn and unnecessary technical dispatch.

CCI Systems' Vice President of Network Technology Todd Gingrass will give an integrator's perspective on how Mariner's xVu suite helps make troubleshooting easy in a multi-vendor environment.

"Mariner's xVu service assurance suite delivers critical network monitoring insight that allows service providers to proactively identify and fix network disturbances before they lead to a degraded customer experience," says Curtis Howe, CEO and president, Mariner.

CCI Systems will exhibit in booth 407 in the Chase Park Plaza. Representatives from Mariner will be available at the CCI Systems booth throughout the show as well as at their booth 418.
