Her still and moving images have chronicled the social and cultural changes in America for the past 5 decades. Her photographic career began in the early sixties. With a new Honeywell Pentax camera in hand and working as an assistant to a manager in the rock & roll scene, she began taking pictures. The Beatles, Peter Paul & Mary, Otis Redding, The Velvet Underground & Nico, The Byrds, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, Andy Warhol, Dennis Hopper, Timothy Leary, Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan are just a few of the major figures on whom she has focused her lens. From Haight Ashbury to Woodstock, from the streets of New York to the high desert in New Mexico, she has documented history as she has experienced it. Her images have graced magazines, newspapers, album covers, concert posters, and many museums including The Smithsonian. Many of these are shown in her pictorial book 'Flashing on The Sixties', as well as her award winning documentary of the same name.
Equally at home with the biggest celebrities and the outsiders whose causes she has helped champion, Lisa has earned the respect of all who have known her. Today she dedicates a lot of her time to developing the Museum of the Sixties in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Over 50 prints will be displayed and available for purchase.

Opened in 1998, Mr Musichead Gallery is LA's first gallery devoted to featuring a vast collection of album cover art, poster art, fine art and photography that chronicles rock and roll's rich heritage. Past exhibits have included the Art of Jerry Garcia, fine art exhibits with Incubus front man Brandon Boyd and British illustration legend Alan Aldridge, a Hendrix album cover photography show with Karl Ferris, and a Bob Marley retrospective. Owner and founder Sam Milgrom established himself in Detroit as a cutting edge, influential music retailer and live concert venue owner who has now set his sights specifically on the LA music/art scene. He has curated over 20 World and LA Premiere Exhibitions.
