Life Is Now "Stress-Free" Says Mother of Three

A visit to the bright yellow tent of the Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour changed the life of a Fiji woman.
The bright yellow Scientology Volunteer Ministers tent has become a symbol of help in towns and cities across the world.

Life has changed considerably for a mother of three from Suva City, the capital of Fiji. And it all started when she passed by the bright yellow Volunteer Ministers tent and decided to step inside.

She was on her way home from women’s soccer training one day with a number of friends when she saw a “striking yellow tent with people of all walks of life.” She insisted her friends join her to find out what was going on inside.

“I was taken on a tour in the tent and to my surprise I stayed until they packed up for the day,” she says. “Discovering the tent meant answers to the obstacles I had been facing. I fell in love with all 19 courses immediately.”

She is referring to the training provided by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tours like the one she encountered in Fiji and also available online through theVolunteer Ministers website. She could see that here was the route to master subjects as vital and diverse as organization, communication, marriage, ethics, handling suppression and the raising of children.

Fast-forward several months. Completing all 19 courses, the woman says, transformed her life. The course on the raising of children, for example, helped her as much as it helped her three youngsters.

“Before doing the course, I would go through crisis trying to meet their demands in school, doing homework, attend to my cooking and clashing with them,” she says. “After doing the course, I found myself to be the children’s best friend. I learnt that raising my children was a tremendous, miraculous joy for me. It has made home full of happiness.”

She also tells of a friend she was able to help after learning Scientology assiststechniques developed by Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard that address the emotional and spiritual factors in stress and trauma. After a major spine operation, her friend had given up and was certain she would never recover. By applying the tools in the Assists for Illnesses and Injuries Course, she helped her friend not only regain her strength but also her will to live. Within a week, the friend was discharged from the hospital and surprised all of her colleagues by returning to work, happy and well.

“The one thing I like most about Scientology is that I am very seldom left with lingering questions about things I run into daily in life,” she says. “Questions like, How can I fulfill my goal in my profession? How to solve a family dispute internally? How to deal with children who are on heavy drugs, abused children, broken marriages, students, and the list goes on. I am stress-free and can say that Scientology has all my answers, come what may.”

The Communication Course is the one that taught her the true purpose and power of communication and how to use it effectively. She says that since completing that course, everyone she meets—from friends to doctors to radio show hosts—compliment her on her ability to communicate.

“All I did was apply data and observe for myself whether or not it works,” she says. “So far, I have gained enormous, awesome and life-changing personal satisfaction. I get along 101 percent better in interpersonal relationships, I’m very successful in what I love and enjoy doing and I can now effectively help friends and loved ones along the way. Every day to me is enjoyable and full of exciting journeys. I owe my life to these wonderful people who opened up my eyes when that yellow tent was placed in the center of Suva City, Fiji.”
