Founded in 1995, the Law Offices of John Eluwa, PLLC (formerly Law Offices of John Eluwa), established itself under the guidance of John Eluwa, Esq. Since immigrating to the United States himself in 1981, Mr. Eluwa has worked diligently to earn the privilege to practice in all North Carolina State Courts, the United States Federal District Court of Eastern District of North Carolina; and all Immigration Courts of the 50 States of the United States. He chose the field of Immigration Law because he wanted to give back to the very community that welcomed him so many years ago when he first attended Shaw University.

Since earning his law degree and opening the doors of the firm in 1995, he has been practicing immigration and criminal defense law for two decades. Mr. Eluwa represents families who have applied for permanent residence for their spouses, children, and other close relatives; people seeking to lawfully enter and reside in the United States and later apply for citizenship. Mr. Eluwa also works on behalf of businesses and industries that sponsor highly skilled foreign workers seeking to enter the United States in a temporary or in some cases on a permanent basis. He has also represented and defended distressed people who find themselves in removal/deportation proceedings in Immigration Court.
