Larson Electronics Releases LED Tractor Light Package for John Deere 4230 Tractors, Cab Light Upgrade
KEMP, Texas, January 11, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an LED tractor light package and cab light upgrade kit for John Deere 4230 tractors. This upgrade kit comes with two LED18W-PAR36, 4.5” round LED head lights to use as low beams, four LED25WRE-CPR LED flood lights for high beams, and four additional LED18W-PAR36, 4.5” round head lights to use as area flood lights.
The LLP-JD-TR-4230-V4 John Deere 4230 tractor light package comes with four LED25WRE-CPR LEDs that produce 2,750 lumens of bright light while drawing less than 2.25 amps from a 12V electrical source. The LEDs are combined with high-output reflectors to produce a narrow 10˚ spot beam that is about 1,000 feet long, combined with a 60˚ flood beam. This ultra-compact unit has a 4.5” OD lamp head that is 5.75” tall and comes with a mounting bracket.
This model LED is IP68 rated and can withstand rugged environments, as well as temperature changes of -40˚C to 85˚C. The housings are made of extruded aluminum with unbreakable polycarbonate lenses. The LEDs offer 50,000 hours of lamp life with 70% lumen retention.
The package comes with a total of eight LED18W-PAR36 LED lamps that operate on 10-30V DC (including 12V and 24V DC). These lamps emit 1,800 lumens in a flood beam configuration with color temperature options that include 3000K, 4500K or 6000K. These lamps come with a clear polycarbonate lens and feature an operating temperature range of -20˚C to 60˚C.
These LEDs offer 50,000 hours of lamp life and draw 1.5 amps at 12V DC and 0.75 amps at 24V DC. The LEDs in this kit mount into existing lamp holders for halogen lamps on John Deere 4230 tractors, making this kit easy to install without needing to do major modifications.
