Kids Science Labs Offers Learning Pods to Help Families Adapting to Remote Learning

CHICAGO, August 20, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Kids Science Labs, the country’s leading hands-on science (STEAM) brand for kids, is offering new programs this fall to help families during this challenging time with both online and in-person offerings. With families still recovering from the impacts of COVID-19 and thousands of school districts around the country switching to remote learning, Kids Science Labs has added Learning Pods to its portfolio of programs that accelerate learning for school-age children in PreK through 7th grade.
Starting this August, Kids Science Labs will build upon its successful programs to help families adapt to new school schedules and health guidelines.
The new offerings will include:
- Online Programming – STEAM programs offered daily for 1-3 hours per day
- In-Center Student Pods – small cohorts which assist children with their schoolwork and provide exciting science experiments
- Learning Pod Programs – connecting high-quality teachers with families collaborating on at-home learning pods
The programs will take a deep dive into core concepts required by Next Generation Science Standards and applies them to real-world experiences – from how we use electric power in our cars to the engineering required to design a running shoe. Schedules will allow parents to select the frequency and length of the class to best fit school schedules.
