Karen Caterino Joins ScripNet Pharmacy Benefits Manager as Director of Sales, Western Region
Online, February 1, 2012 (Newswire.com) - ScripNet, a nationwide pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) who contracts with workers' compensation insurance carriers and pharmacies, announced the addition of Karen Caterino MBA, ARM-P, CPM®, CGBA, as Director of Sales for ScripNet's Western Region, including the Mountain and Pacific regions, as well as Texas.
Caterino most recently managed the State of Nevada's Risk Management Division, including: workers' compensation, property, fleet, fidelity, aviation and commercial liability programs. At the State of Nevada, Caterino was instrumental in bringing innovative approaches to cost containment, including an early intervention program that addressed the problem of acute and chronic pain, narcotics abuse and invasive surgeries.

Karen received the LexisNexis 2010 Most Notable Persons in Workers' Compensation-Risk Manager Award and her workers' compensation program at the State of Nevada was a 2011 finalist for the Theodore Roosevelt Workers' Compensation and Disability Management award.
Karen has an undergraduate degree in Sociology, a Masters in Business Administration, an Associate in Risk Management-Public Entity and is a Certified Government Benefits Administrator and Certified Public Manager ®. Karen resides in Reno, NV with her husband and daughter and her favorite activities include running, golf, skiing and mentoring women in the field of risk management.
