Jet Airways Conferred Three Prestigious Awards At The "Times Travel Honours 2011"

At a glittering ceremony in Mumbai on October 12th 2011, India's preferred international carrier was honoured with the "Most Trusted Airline Brand", "Best Domestic Full Service Carrier" and "Best International (Economy) Airline" for 2011 at the travel awards instituted by the Times Group. The awards were received by Gilbert George, Senior General Manager - Sales, Jet Airways from Capt. C P Krishnan Nair, Chairman of The Leela Group of Hotels, at the event graced by top luminaries of the travel and tourism industry.

The inaugural Times Travel Honours were designed to recognize the efforts of the growing tourism and hospitality industry. The selection process for the awards was designed under three broad categories: jury, academy and a consumer perception based survey. In all 29 winners from the entire spectrum of the travel space from airlines to cruise liners to fleet taxi services to boutique hotels were felicitated at the event. Ernst & Young is accredited with the research for the awards nominees & the winners.
