International School for Autism Earns Certified Autism Center Designation
First of its kind in Kissimmee, Fla.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., March 19, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Working to ensure collaboration in academic, social, and therapeutic settings for students with special needs, the International School for Autism has taken these efforts a step further by becoming a Certified Autism Center (CAC).
The CAC designation, awarded by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), means that at least 80% of the staff have been trained and certified in autism and the organization has a commitment to ongoing training in the area of autism and special needs education.
