Intercommunity Action Chooses New President & CEO
Philadelphia, PA, June 17, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Intercommunity Action (“Interact”) announces the appointment of Bryan H. Cohen as their new President and Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds David Bolin, who is retiring after more than 40 years with Interact, including 24 years as President and CEO. Cohen was selected from among many qualified candidates after a six-month national search.
Cohen is a licensed psychologist and has served in the Philadelphia Community Behavioral Health System for over 30 years. He has been part of the Interact team for 23 years, where he has served as the Director of Children’s Services and most recently as Vice President for Behavioral Health. Cohen has had leadership roles on numerous city and state committees, which have helped guide behavioral health policies and services to numerous underserved populations throughout the Commonwealth. He possesses a master’s degree from Temple University in Psychoeducational Processes and a second master’s degree from John F. Kennedy University in Counseling Psychology.
