INO Cares Campaign Supports Mikey Medium English School
Online, June 23, 2014 (Newswire.com) - INO.com launched their monthly charity campaign in January of 2014. In this first corporate program of its kind, INO Cares selects one nonprofit organization per month to receive a monetary donation. Since the beginning of this year, INO.com has sent donations to the South County Assistance Network (SCAN), the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, Rebuilding Together of Anne Arundel County, West/Rhode Riverkeeper's Ride For The Rivers and Beards Battling Cancer.
For the month of July, INO.com has selected the Mikey Medium English School, a nonprofit school in Bauniyan, Nepal which provides education, meals, clothing and care to impoverished children in this rural Western region. INO.com will provide the tuition for five students for the upcoming school year.
The Mikey Medium English school was founded by two Nepalese brothers, with the help of Maryland native, Mikey Church. What started as a promise to help these brothers fund a school for low-income children has blossomed into an organization thriving through generous donations collected by Grassroots Education Nepal, a non-profit created by the Church family. INO.com is proud to give to this inspiriting and worthy cause.
