The Mexican-style fiesta is happening Wednesday, May 3, at 12:30 p.m., at the center’s Glendale location on West Lexington. Their East Broadway location will celebrate on Thursday, May 4. And, on Friday, May 5, the party moves to South Brand.

Cinco de Mayo recognizes the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. Though it’s not much celebrated in Mexico, in America, the fifth of May is as good a day as any for tenants to step away from their desks and enjoy an afternoon of mixing and mingling with neighbors. Across the country, it’s not uncommon to find people celebrating with parades, mariachi bands, street festivals, and the occasional margarita. Right in line with that sentiment, the Hollywood Production Center May 5 social will feature delicious quesadillas and tasty asada, al pastor, chicken, and carnitas tacos from Tacos Teresa.
