GOP Entrepreneur & Radio Talk Host Exploring 11th Congressional: "Current Government Will Destroy America".

Entrepreneur and radio talk show host Ian Bayne today announced his exploration of candidacy for US Congress in Illinois' 11th congressional district, where he resides.

"I was in political retirement but I cannot sit by and keep watching this disaster," Bayne said.

Although only 39 years old, Bayne has been a nominee for chairman of the Massachusetts state GOP, a communications director for a US senate campaign, a founder of a Republican PAC chartered under the state Republican Party (in Massachusetts), and credited by the Boston Herald as "one of three" people responsible for Mitt Romney's candidacy for governor in 2002.

Bayne has since returned to Illinois, where he is originally from, and has met with a few local elected officials. He has not yet consulted previous donors to his PAC that include well known international business leaders. "I met with the NRCC 12 years ago while Darlene Senger was trying to figure out how to raise taxes on the residents of Naperville," said Bayne, in a prepared statement.

"There are too many Republican officials that just don't get it," said Bayne. "Sending Republicans to Washington to work with Democrats on raising taxes, increasing regulations, and more spending, will destroy America."

"We need Republican advocates for a small business recovery, not Republican advocates for a Democrat tax and spend agenda, or else business ownership will be reserved for only the rich and powerful that can afford it," Bayne added. "Because small business and the Democrat agenda are in direct opposition to one another."

Bayne himself was born into poverty and credits small business for pulling him out of it.

He says that small business ownership is the key to a strong America and an America where lower class people become upper class people.

"Obamacare, so-called stimulus, business regulations, higher taxes, professional licensure, these are things that not only kill small business, but kill any hope of a lower class person become upper class, and that's the real crime going on."

Bayne, 39, is currently a syndicated talk host in 16 markets. A partner in a detective agency in Chicago, principal in a real estate valuation company, and current voiceover talent (SAG/AFTRA). Previously, he was the founder and chairman of the 1,000 member Massachusetts Republican Society PAC from 1999 until 2002. He has served on numerous high profile efforts and campaigns in Massachusetts, including Mitt Romney's 2002 gubernatorial campaign.
