'Girlfriendology Guides' Launches To Share 'Women's Wisdom' / Girlfriendology.com Becomes Publisher Of EBooks Sharing Information By Women, For Women

Girlfriendology, the online community for women based on female friendship, is advancing the women-to-women sharing of pertinent information by launching 'Girlfriendology Guides' - a line of eBooks, audio books and webinars by and for women.

As women, we pass down knowledge and offer assistance to other women - from recipes to child care tips, book recommendations to shopping advice. We love to share what we know with other women, and vice versa - it's been that way throughout history.

Technology has expanded the possibilities of sharing this information between women from a verbal, one-to-one exchange to an opportunity to share knowledge with hundreds, thousands or even millions of females who might benefit from women's insights and information.

Girlfriendology, the online community for women based on inspiration, appreciation, and celebration of female friendship, is advancing the women-to-women sharing of pertinent information by launching 'Girlfriendology Guides' - a line of eBooks, audio books and webinars by women, for women, on topics that will benefit women.

According to a January 2011 report by the Association of American Publishers (AAP), "eBooks and downloadable audio books continue to grow in popularity. Figures for the first month of the new year show that eBook net sales increased by 115.8% vs. January 2010 (from $32.4 Million to $69.9M). Sales of downloadable audio books also rose by 8.8% vs. the previous year ($6.0M to $6.5M). As AAP reported in its December 2010 monthly report and full 2010 analysis, eBook sales have increased annually and significantly in all nine years of tracking the category."

The first eBook in the Girlfriendology Guides line is 'GIRLFRIENDOLOGY 101: Simple Steps to More Fulfilling Friendships,' by Girlfriendology founder, Debba Haupert. The 64-page eBook offers five benefits of female friendship, seven ways you can be a better friend, five steps to forgiving a friend and saving the friendship, and more inspiration, insights and information.

"As publisher of the Girlfriendology Guides, we wanted to launch the eBook line with 'Girlfriendology 101' to set the tone and to serve as an example of sharing helpful knowledge between women -by women, for women," said Haupert. "The response has been wonderful and we're excited about growing this line of eBooks, audio books and webinars, and sharing women's wisdom through our authors and affiliates."

Upcoming topics to be covered in Girlfriendology Guides include: how to find 'me time' and make it count, advice for 'crazy-busy' moms, how to build an online community, how to create a blog you love, SEO for women entrepreneurs, and more.
