During the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, Florida Smiles Dental offices in Ft. Lauderdale and Lighthouse Point are still operational. The Governor of Florida has issued an Executive Order for a statewide shutdown, however dental emergency service is considered an Essential service.

Florida Smiles Dental ​has a message for its patients during this time:

Our office is closely monitoring the pandemic of COVID-19 and all orders presented by CDC and Gov. Ron DeSantis. To ensure the safety of our patients and staff, we will open only for dental emergencies."
