True to its payoff line: First In Car Hire, First In Service, First Car Rental has won 1st place at the highly-regarded South African Service Awards in the Travel and Related Services category beating all of its car hire competitors in South Africa.

First Car Rental has won gold at The South African Service Awards - the premier customer-driven service awards in South Africa. The gold award was officially announced at a South African Service Awards ceremony held in Johannesburg on the 1st March 2013.

All companies are rated by their actual customers, which allows for an unbiased overview regarding the quality of service that each company is providing.

First Car Rental achieved an overall service rating average of 89.72% from its customers whilst the car rental industry average overall scored 81.66%.

In the Travel and related services - Car Hire - category, the final audited results were:
