Four-time DogTime Media dog blog nominee announces how fans can win up to $10,000 for animal shelters.

Four-time DogTime Media blogger award nominee, FIDO Friendly magazine, announced fans can participate in this year's Petties awards to win between $1,000 and $10,000 for the animal shelter of their choice.

This Friday, August 26th, DogTime Media is awarding trophies and shelter donations to the best of the best in the pet blogger world. FIDO Friendly magazine is nominated for three awards: Best Overall Pet Blog, Best Dog Blog, and Best Blog Post.

DogTime Media will announce the winners with a live stream this Friday, August 26th at 5 pm eastern. Viewers are invited to visit Dogtime dot com to watch live and tweet along.

By viewing, fans can also win money for the animal shelter of their choice. As DogTime explained, "We'll be giving away two $1,000 shelter donations on behalf of a couple of lucky Twitter users. Just use the hashtag #petties when tweeting during the show." DogTime will be announcing how someone can win a $10,000 donation to the shelter of their choice!
