Fidelity Relaunching BBC America, Expanding More AMC Channels Throughout Systems
Sullivan, MO, May 12, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Effective May 17, Fidelity Communications is relaunching BBC America, a popular channel, and will expand carriage of BBC World News, IFC and WE tv throughout all of its systems[AD1] .
Fidelity Communications operates TV systems in various communities in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. The channels will be carried on Fidelity’s MAXView tier.

Designed for American audiences, BBC America offers the best in British entertainment and groundbreaking U.S. originals, featuring a robust lineup of sci-fi, comedy, reality, drama, documentaries and movies, all delivered in a uniquely British voice. Top shows are Doctor Who, Downton Abbey, Orphan Black, The Last Kingdom and London Spy.
BBC World News is a 24-hour news network reporting on global topics with in-depth analysis and also includes BBC News bulletins, documentaries, lifestyle programs and interviews. With over 70 BBC news bureaus coordinating a network of more than 2,000 journalists, it employs more correspondents and reporters and has more international bureaus than any other news channel.
WE tv features programming similar to VH1 and Bravo, with its programming focus bent mainly toward women. Featuring compelling unscripted shows and dramatic scripted series, WE tv’s programming is fueled by personalities and relationships filled with purpose and passion. Top shows include Law and Order, Kendra on Top, Braxton Family Values, House MD and Mary Mary.
IFC programming includes original comedies, acquired series, and fan favorite films that are "always on, slightly off" according to its slogan. The network's line up of original comedies like Portlandia, Maron, and Comedy Bang! Bang! are complemented by fan-favorite movies and revived cult TV shows.
