Kristi Atkins of a|i|m Marketing Solutions Honored with the Prestigious Award
Online, March 10, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Monica Smiley, publisher and CEO of Enterprising Women magazine has announced the winners of the 2011 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards, an annual tribute to top women entrepreneurs from North America and around the globe. The award finalists and winners will be recognized during a celebratory event held Thursday, March 10 and Friday, March 11 at the Boca Raton Resort, located at 501 E. Camino St. in Boca Raton, Fla. This is the ninth anniversary of the gala awards celebration.
Award recipients must demonstrate that they have fast-growth businesses, mentor or actively support other women and girls involved in entrepreneurship, and stand out as leaders in their communities. Many of these women are also leaders in key organizations that support the growth of women's entrepreneurship.
Award winners were recognized in five categories: annual sales revenues of more than $25 million; more than $10 million and up to $25 million in annual revenues; more than $5 million and up to $10 million in annual revenues; more than $1 million and up to $5 million in annual revenues; and up to $1 million in annual revenues.
Recognized for the more than $1 million and up to $5 million category was Atlanta's own Kristi Atkins of a|i|m Marketing Solutions. The Peachtree City native and University of Georgia graduate has devoted much of her time to the Sports Marketing industry, building her business and being actively involved in the community through charities and through her role as president of WISE Atlanta (Women in Sports and Entertainment). Kristi was also recently named the "Professional Woman of the Year" by the National Association of Professional Women.
