With 15 years dedicated to medicine, Dr. Nowlis brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry, and in particular, to his area of expertise, emergency medicine. When asked why he decided to pursue this specialization in medicine, Dr. Nowlis said:
"After graduating from Stanford, I worked in a Stanford lab where the LVAD heart pump was being developed and tested and this piqued my interest in the medical field. Then I worked as an EMT on an ambulance and this galvanized my desire to become a doctor."
Since completing his medical training, Dr. Nowlis has seen a meteoric rise in his field. He began his career practicing in the Bay Area, with hospital affiliations in both San Jose and San Pablo, California. In 2015 Nowlis made the move to the Pacific Northwest and began practicing at the PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, Washington.
