I can imagine my mother with my older sister Angie held by the one hand and in the other arm a frail sickly baby Armida, not even able to walk yet, making their way to Angelus Temple. The Temple was within walking distance from their home, in fact, about a block away. Angeles Temple was to play a very important role in my life years later.

We see this scenario being played out each day in some clinic or some human resource agency throughout the United States.
