Digisonics OB-Windows - Structured Reporting system of choice
Online, May 6, 2010 (Newswire.com) - HOUSTON - The OB-Windows Structured Reporting System was implemented at Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services in Gibson City, Ill., as well as the Digisonics GYN reporting and database package for gynecology specific ultrasound studies. OBLink modules were installed to auto-populate patient biometry from the site's ultrasound systems to the OB-Windows ultrasound review workstations, providing a simple and efficient workflow. The unique OB Search Package will query all patient fields to easily automate accreditation and staffing reports, while the DICOM Report Store-to-PACS sends finalized reports to the site's GE PACS system. For even further integration, Digisonics Gateway Monitor software will continuously monitor and record all DICOM applications and transmissions to ensure the network operates efficiently.
Two current customers with locations in Houston, Texas, expanded the OB-Windows Structured Reporting Software at their respective facilities. The Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, which will be expanding this fall to a new location in Katy, Texas, will continue to utilize the OB-Windows system for its clinical database, structured reporting capabilities and fetal growth analysis.
