Online, March 17, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Samuel Warde National Chair Democrats Abroad Argentina has laid out the following priorities moving forwards into this year:

POLICY & PLATFORM

United States policy has a huge affect on our lives in Argentina and the Latin American Region and we need to insure that the voice of American citizens and resident aliens living in Argentina is heard.

Join us as we push for the strengthening of core Democratic values, help elect democrats to office and bring a new voice and vibrancy to Democrats Abroad and the Democratic National Committee.

With the 2012 election campaign season just around the corner your participation in Democrats Abroad Argentina and the upcoming campaign can make a significant difference as does casting your vote in your local, statewide and national elections.

Moving forwards, we are looking for Democrats Abroad Argentina members to volunteer to participate in meaningful policy dialogues in the upcoming weeks and months. The result of these discussions will provide the Democrats Abroad Argentina with invaluable insight as we work to develop our policy platform and our desired input to the global Democrats Abroad Policy Platform.

VOTER OUTREACH

Democrats Abroad is the official Democratic Party organization for the millions of Americans living outside the United States. We work to advance the principles of our Party by spreading the Democratic message to Americans abroad and encouraging them to vote for Democratic candidates back home.

Democrats Abroad Argentina works to keep Americans here advised of their voting rights, encourage involvement in the electoral process and assists the facilitation of voter registration regardless of party affiliation. Voting is a fundamental right-and when we make our voices heard, we can keep moving our nation forward, building a fairer, stronger, and more just America.

Democrats Abroad Argentina provides volunteers who are trained to help all Americans exercise their right to vote from overseas. We assist at events, and will continue to be a part of the driving force behind the online voter registration tool, www.VoteFromAbroad.org - an easy-to-use program that respects your privacy (no information is collected or stored).

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Moving into the year 2011, Democrats Abroad is excited at the creation and development of a Community Outreach Program.

Democrats Abroad new Community Outreach Program will coordinate volunteer and community service activity spanning a wide range of areas. Areas we are looking to include are far reaching as anything is possible when Democrats come together!
