Deb H. McIntire's New Book 'Reflections' is a Captivating Reflection Through Poetic Pieces of One Passionate Heart's Triumphs and Tragedies

Recent release "Reflections" from Covenant Books author Deb H. McIntire shares an anthology of poems that voice out the author's poignant experiences, the remarkable events and the significant people in her life that molded her into the purpose-driven woman that she is now.

Deb H. McIntire, a retired public servant and a member of the Academy of American Poets and The Poetry Society of Texas, has completed her new book, “Reflections”: a wonderfully written poetry book that reflects the life experiences of the author as she pays tribute to her mom and, likewise, speaks about her years at home, on the farm, the holidays, encounters with people, her life with family and with the Lord.

The author uses an honest and vibrant approach in ‘telling the story’ in this collection of poems, while reflecting on memorable events in her life and the influences of those around her. Many of the poems depict what it was like growing up as a baby boomer on a rural prairie near and in Whiteface and Levelland, both small West Texas oil field boomtowns. The author’s remarkable past is exemplified with family customs in Christmases past and experiences of living in the country and visiting grandparents on their farm, for which readers may relate. The author also includes the blessings and mishaps of being a pastor’s wife and the versatility of the ministry, as well as her relationship with her mother, her family and God. Many experiences and life lessons are conveyed within this author’s rhythmic verse, in addition to: humor, love, humility, disappointment, frustration, compassion and incomparable joy, and last but not least, a few blunders and tragedies that occurred during the author’s lifetime. Some comments by readers and poetry connoisseurs indicate that this author’s poetry is impressive. Ten inspirational poems, written by the author’s loving and departed mother, Wilma Bryant Hunnicutt, are included in the ‘In Tribute’ section of this book.

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Deb H. McIntire’s new book inspires the readers through her journey that everyone goes through different adversities in life and everyone comes from different backgrounds, but all these experiences come with lessons that will lead one to a brighter life—and here, in these pieces, one witnesses another’s eventful walk in life.

This book will definitely warm the hearts of the readers through messages that speak of love, courage, faith and hope.

Readers can purchase “Reflections” at bookstores everywhere or online on the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
