As a result, when it came time for him to open a healthcare consulting business, Cherry Hill was a natural choice for a home base. Weinstein's new company, the MedAsset Management Company, will provide healthcare consulting and management to entities large and small. In essence, the company will help these healthcare providers streamline their systems, reduce errors and increase profits, and the work Weinstein provides will encompass the entire revenue cycle.

"My company will work hard to buy locally, and while we may not need a significant amount of raw materials to get going, our office will need chairs, paper, lights, this kind of thing," Weinstein says. "I plan to buy everything within Cherry Hill, if I can, and I'll ensure that our office is also located within the city. It's a small step, but I like to think that I'm doing my part to add to the revenue base."

Obviously, Weinstein will also be paying state taxes on his income, and that could also be a boon to the state.

"I'm happy to do my part to help the local economy improve," says Weinstein. "New Jersey is a great place to do business, and I'm just happy to be here."
