Contact Photography 2011 for Norman Felix Gallery
Online, May 4, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Norman Felix Gallery will be showcasing an eclectic collection of work by several of our talented Canadian photographers. Sarah Tacoma is headlining the event again this year amid exceptional photographers Olivia Barrionuevo, Soumen Karmakar, Roger Guetta, Christopher Dennison, Richard Bornemann Isaiah Trickey, and Roy Trickey.
Recent work by featured artist Sarah Tacoma draws attention to the beauty and fragility of Canada's north and its people, creating culturally and environmentally relevant artwork. Her large-scale dreamscapes frame the vast Canadian landscape and encourage a dialogue around one's perception of the natural world.
About Special Surprise Father-Son Display
Toronto-based photographer Isaiah Trickey will be participating in a special display with his father Roy Trickey, an American-born civil rights activist who migrated to Canada in the 1960s. Since moving to Canada, Roy has produced an incredible oeuvre of photography documenting the natural beauty of northern Ontario. Roy passed his passion and talent for photography on to his son Isaiah, who has become well-known for his unique focus upon the urban Toronto cultural scene.
