Connected Patients, LLC Announces Go Live of ConnectMe Bedside System In Hardin Memorial Hospital North Tower

New Patient Tower Includes State Of The Art Patient Infotainment System

Through an expansion of their current agreement, Connected Patients, LLC is pleased to announce the installation and go live of 58 additional ConnectMeTM computer terminals.  With this installation, all patients in the new tower will have access to the system which provides them with a whole host of diagnosis-specific patient education, hospital and area information, and entertainment options free of charge.

Dan Hollingshead, President and CEO of Connected Patients, LLC sees a lot of mutual benefit with the expansion.  “Deploying the ConnectMeTM system throughout the beautiful new North Tower is something we’ve worked very hard on and are so grateful it has gone exactly according to plan.  Of course, most exciting for us is knowing how many patients will benefit from the use of the system and how positively it will affect Hardin Memorial Hospital’s HCAHPS scores.  The system has produced great results for their Emergency Department and we know it will do just as great in their new tower.  We’re very excited about the possibilities!”

The new ConnectMeTM units utilize the large LCD Televisions and wireless keyboards making it easy for the patients and their visitors to see and use.  Soon, integration with the hospital’s dietary systems will enable on-demand meal ordering while ensuring strict compliance with any dietary restrictions.  On-demand meal services have shown greater patient satisfaction along with reduced waste over traditional hospital meal services.

“As HMH committed to a new acute bed tower that would be inviting and provide a home-like, patient focused environment of care, it was natural for us to ensure that we could compliment high touch with high tech,” said Tom Carrico, Vice President of Operations.  “Connected Patients’ ConnectMeTM system delivers a highly intuitive technology platform that provides entertainment services, patient education and real-time patient feedback regarding our services.  We are very pleased to have partnered with Connected Patients, LLC and look forward to leveraging the technology platform further moving forward.”
