Conference USA Rolls Out New Partnership With FieldTurf
Irving, Texas, November 16, 2017 (Newswire.com) - FieldTurf has entered into an agreement to become an Official Partner of Conference USA. FieldTurf is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and its primary manufacturing facility is located in Calhoun, Georgia. With a design intended to more accurately replicate real grass, the new product gained rapid popularity in the late 1990s.
“C-USA is excited to partner with FieldTurf, the industry leader in infilled artificial turf,” C-USA Deputy Commissioner Brian Mackin said. “Providing our student athlete’s quality surfaces to practice and compete is a priority and FieldTurf allows our conference members that opportunity.”
Through the partnership, FieldTurf will have sponsorship opportunities at the 2018 C-USA Basketball Championships presented by Baylor Scott & White Sports Performance Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, and the league’s annual spring meetings in Destin, Florida.
“We are proud to associate ourselves with Conference USA and their members” said Eric Daliere, FieldTurf’s President. “This partnership reaffirms our longstanding commitment toward providing the safest and highest quality fields for organizations at every level”.
About FieldTurf
FieldTurf is the company that invented and perfected long-pile, infilled artificial turf. The company that changed the industry. FieldTurf was developed and engineered for athletes, by athletes. The company that changed the way athletes view “artificial turf”. Before FieldTurf, natural grass was considered by many to be the best solution for sports fields around the world – even though it required constant maintenance and could not withstand heavy use. FieldTurf’s inventors were not trying to create a better artificial solution, they were trying to replicate natural grass.
