Colonial Williamsburg Extends Vacation Season With Value-Loaded Autumn Packages

This fall, vacation season continues for Colonial Williamsburg with crisp mornings and cooler days in and around the Historic Area, and two value-loaded Autumn Packages.

With beautiful fall foliage, interactive programming, peak golf season, fine dining and spa, Colonial Williamsburg's packages for families and couples make it easy to stretch the summer season through November.

With the Autumn Stories Package, valid through November 27, opportunities abound to hit the links, explore art exhibitions, enjoy culinary programs, and follow evening ghost stories. Starting at $109 per person, per night, the three-day, two-night package includes:
• Nightly accommodations at the Williamsburg Lodge;
• Daily breakfast (including gratuity);
• Length-of-stay tickets for the Historic Area and Art Museums;
• Evening Ghost Tour tickets;
• A $100 activities card that may be applied toward the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club, The Spa of Colonial Williamsburg, dining in Colonial Williamsburg's taverns or restaurants, or shopping at an official, on-site Colonial Williamsburg-owned store.

Pricing is based on a two-night stay at the Williamsburg Lodge in a superior guest room (one queen bed) for two adults with Sunday-Wednesday arrival. Pricing varies with room type and arrival date.

For families looking to enjoy a getaway together, the Autumn Bounce Package is an affordable option. This three day-two night package starts at $315 per night for a family of four, and includes:
• Nightly accommodations at the Williamsburg Woodlands;
• Admission to Colonial Williamsburg's Historic Area and Art Museums;
• Admission to Busch Gardens.

Package pricing is based on a three-night stay in a standard guest room (two double beds) for two adults and two children (under 17) with Sunday-Wednesday arrival. Pricing varies with room type and arrival date. The package is available through November 27, 2011. Admission to Busch Gardens is contingent upon the park schedule.

New exhibitions and programs enhance Colonial Williamsburg's Autumn Packages. At the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, visitors can discover "Art in Clay: Masterworks of North Carolina Earthenware", a new traveling ceramics exhibition celebrating the achievements of North Carolina's 18th- and 19th-century potters.
